A huge group of us went to Chapman Elementary to watch the Vaux's Swifts. Thousands of migratory Swifts descend into the chimney of the school for their nightly roost. Most of the kids spent the entire sunset sliding down the steep hill on slabs of cardboard. Aidan and Noah spent a good portion of the night eating gigantic raspberries off their fingers. Mmmm.
