Hmmm...

Micah and Sean have a whole series of argyle sweater pictures, but by far this one is the best.  Maybe.

The Nines

Micah and I stayed at the Nines downtown at the end of March.  This ended up being a pretty important day...We had a great time and got a couple cool pics. Micah bathed in white light.

And again.

My new yellow Nike's.

Jumping on the bed takes the cake.

Intern Farewell / Japanese Garden

We had a lovely Intern Farewell Party at the Japanese Garden in March.  This is a great picture of our family.

The interns in the garden.

Jen and the Shrug

I had to post this picture of the shrug my oh so talented friend Jen whipped up.  Am I just a tad bit annoyed by her prowess?  Of course not!  She one day decided that she might start knitting and voila! this shrug came into being.

Goosebumps

One night the three dudes wanted to watch Goosebumps.  They got so freaked out.  Hilarious!

Sayo's Family Reunion

Sayo's mother, aunt and sister came to visit us in March.  We had a wonderful time.  We went shopping, sightseeing and ate so much good food!  Here is Aidan with Sayo's sister Riyo.

Sayo, her aunt, her mom and her sister at the Kennedy School.

Group shot!!

The Sleepover

Our friend Ivy joined us for a sleepover.  Her jovial personality produced a whole series of silly and joyful pictures.  Here is Aidan and I.

Aidan and Ivy are ready for their own show!

Could Ethan and Ivy look more excited?!

Dork factor 10.  Crazy yo yo action!!

Just when you thought it was getting serious...

Art Show / Christian Stairs

My brother graduated and had his first art showing in Eugene, OR.  I drove down to be there and was astounded by his talent.  He switched from photography shortly after spending months in Africa.  His paintings were fantastic.  I am so proud of him.  This one he sold shortly after the show.

Intense.

I really like this one of the woman.

Hats.

Robotfucker.  Yes, that's the name.

Lost / Rediscovered

I've been feeling really guilty because I'm uploading pictures from February and it's actually August.  Okay, so I'm a procrastinator!  The benefit of being really behind is finding memories that have slipped your mind.  John had a karaoke party at his house and these are two pictures from that evening.  Perhaps I had forgotten due to one too many sake-tini's? Here are the lovely interns.  Fumi, Miyuki, Mika, Maiko, Alice, Naoko, Miyuki K, Sachiyo, Aya, Mako and the beautiful Sayo!

Sarah, Maya and Sayo looking lovely too.

ROBOTS!!

Oh my!  We had the most awesome party for Ethan's 8th birthday.  We went to 100th Monkey studio and made some of the most creative robots you've ever seen.

Noah is very proud of his creation...as he should be!

Aidan, Ethan, Kieran, Noah and Reef show off their rad-tastic robots.

Ethan loves his robot too much.

Joby in the midst of artistic process.  All in all, a successful gathering!

New Year's Celebration!

The New Year's Celebration at Richmond was fantastic!!  The interns sang for us, which is always a treat!  Ethan performed taiko.  Very impressive.  A wonderful start to 2009.

Fumi, Maiko and Mako sporting some beautiful pink flowers.

Ethan in motion!

Here is the entire group in sync.

Christmas = Fun

We had a pretty awesome Christmas.  I think Sayo had a great time too.  The boys tore through their gifts and then proceeded to start building.  Here is Aidan showing us his true self while they create with Legos.

Micah and Sayo opening their gifts.

Aidan really wanted Indiana Jones.

Smiling E-bot.
